It has been designed using wordpress and used RSS feeds to includes latest journal table of contents, latest updates & news from relevant professional bodies, new books in the library, latest staff publications and other useful links. These are organised under different subject ‘tabs’ with each tab representing a different specialty/subject area/topic.

The Knowledge @lert monthly bulletin aims to keep you up-to-date with the latest evidence based health care information, including articles, guidelines and books. Knowledge @lert is in pdf format.
Library Newsletters: provide latest news and articles on 42 clinical and non-clinical topics. There is a form to complete to register for the updates.Library Newsletters are delivered via html email.

The Horizon Scanning Bulletins support the commissioning process and service redesign, bringing together new and emerging information on:
- best practice
- innovation
- future risk factors
The service provides an easily digestible monthly email update of key and relevant information and examples of new or developing services in other NHS organisations, and transferable examples from other sectors.
The Bulletins are produced by NHS Librarians across the North West and are quality-assured by experts in the field to ensure high quality information.

The spreadsheet is a list of all “awards” for which healthcare staff can submit an entry. You can also sign up to receive a “bulletin” which is a current list of open awards to which submissions can be made. Coverage is broader than the healthcare press.
There is a summary of what the award covers and an indication of:
Staff group: which staff group are covered
Deadline: date by which submissions must be received
Apply: website url to which submissions can be made

UHBristol provide Evidence Alerts, put together in liaison with departmental contacts. The types of information included in each bulletin vary slightly dependent on departmental preference. The alerts vary by subject from monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly and may occasionally include locally relevant information.

Governance – the bigger picture is a monthly bulletin highlighting updates and information on governance; patient safety; risk; compliance and assurance; quality and much more.
System Wide – a monthly horizon scanning bulletin looking at developments relating to health economies.
Practice Education Horizon Scanning Bulletin – 3 issues per year highlighting new information for nursing, midwifery and allied health on mentorship; teaching and learning; practice education.
The latest version plus archived bulletins are available to read online or download on the website.
