Library staff undertook a literature search for A and E colleagues to identify ways of reducing attendance at A and E, for example by diverting to alternative suitable service points such as GP.

A comprehensive literature search was undertaken which resulted in the identification of numerous examples of good practice from elsewhere in the country and wider afield.
